On March 19, we took the stage in a public lecture on the theme of “Isolation of Corona Disasters: Tackling the Future in Tajima.” This meeting was held as a place to learn about the initiatives of “Kawasaki Net Enishi”, consisting mainly of a network of volunteers consisting of on-site supporters, administrative officials, and researchers mainly in Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki City.
On the day of the event, there was a lecture on children’s connections at Kawasaki Community Life Support Base Tajima-cho, Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki City, where they shared examples of initiatives made at the Center for children and vulnerable people in the Corona Disaster, as well as through food pantry activities at the Kawasaki City Fureaikan in Sakuramoto, Kawasaki Ward.
MEICIS introduced the psychological consultation sessions held nationwide, taking into account the possibility that young foreigners in the Keihin area may not be able to reach psychiatric care properly.
We will continue our activities with the aim of building a community that makes it easier for people in the Keihin area to live through Kawasaki Net Enishi.
